Most of the time, making an impact doesn’t require a grand gesture—just presence, curiosity, and the willingness to make someone feel seen.

Starting therapy feels real. I am able to say things out loud that have only been in my head, and she replies with something that makes me feel even more seen. Even validated for feeling the fire.

What I desperately crave is something I am already being seen as. Something I am already living.

Hope can be heavy.

This past year has been full. An abundance of hope, heartache, and everything in between. I still have everything I’ve always wanted—except one thing. And yet, I’m learning to live less attached to expectation, more rooted in the moment, and full of love for all people. Holding hope and becoming softer through it all.

That’s what makes what’s happening now so painful. We’re turning away from one another when we could be leaning in. We’re forgetting that our differences can be our teachers…

Hope. Fear. Love. Repeat. Maybe this isn’t just surviving. Maybe it’s what bravery looks like.

The world moves so fast, but time slows down when you're waiting for a dream to unfold. And I think there's something sacred in that waiting. That’s when the becoming happens.

My bank account didn’t match my impact—and that season taught me more about myself than any title ever could. I wasn’t chasing gain, I was chasing connection.

Time, like the ocean, can’t be forced. The waves come when they come and leave when they must. We don’t rush the tide—so why do we keep rushing ourselves?

I’ve learned that peace isn’t something you can externally get. It’s something that is internally created… And with all the change going on around me, cooking has become the place where I breathe, dance, and simply be.
